Department of Labor Research & Evaluation Study
ReBoot Northwest is a project funded by the federal government. The primary goal of ReBoot NW is to help people improve their skills, and find and keep jobs. In order to learn what works, the federal government is conducting a study requiring every person eligible for ReBoot NW to be selected through a lottery system. Those not selected through the lottery will be not be able to participate in ReBoot NW, but will be able to enroll in any other services or programs for which they are eligible.

What makes the program unique?
ReBoot participants receive individual attention from career coaches who create personalized plans towards high-wage, high-growth careers. Plans might include 2-4 week “career-link” trainings, networking and opportunities for paid education, internships and work experiences.
Here’s How We Can Get You There
1Get Ready
If you believe you meet basic ReBoot NW eligibility, begin the application process by registering to attend a ReBoot NW Information Session at a WorkSource center.
Program specialists will ask questions to learn more about your skills and experience, answer questions about the program and get your application started if the ReBoot NW program is right for you.
2Get Set
If accepted to the program, you’ll work with your career coach to make a plan to train for the career that is right for you. You will be responsible for following through on your plan.
Depending on your experience, your plan could include education, training or workplace based learning like on-the-job training or an internship.
3Get Work
ReBoot NW partners with leading manufacturing and IT employers that have committed to reviewing ReBoot NW participants for placement into job shadowing, internships and open positions.
